3D configurators for makers of built-to-order products
Let buyers build it, price it, and stand next to it.
IronMile Studio turns your product CAD into a configurator on your website: every option in 3D, the price as they choose, your product at true size in their own backyard on their phone, and a quote request that lands in your inbox.
Demo: a sample barrel sauna. Open it on your phone and tap "View in your space".
What your buyers get
Every option in 3D
Sizes, materials, doors, windows, roofs, add-ons. Real wood and finish textures, dimensions and a top view for planning the site.
The price, live
The total updates with every choice, from your price list. No "call for price" for the parts you're happy to publish.
True size, in their space
One tap opens their configured build in AR on iPhone and Android, at 1:1 on their own lawn or lot. No app to install.
A quote request with everything
Name, contact, where it will go, and the exact build with its price and a link back to it.
What you get
- Quote requests by email and in an inbox, with a status and notes for each one.
- Your own price editor. Change a price or take an option off sale; the page shows it to the next visitor. Requests keep the price they were sent with.
- Your domain and your brand. It lives on your site, for example
configure.yourbrand.com. - Fast on phones. Compressed models, a lighter scene on mobile, and a plain view when buyers want one.
Your CAD stays yours
We work from your STEP files (or, for simple products, from your drawings). Only display meshes go on the web; your source CAD is never published, and each page carries only its own product.
How it works
- Send your CAD and price list. STEP from SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion or similar, plus the options you sell.
- We map parts to options. Materials, variants and prices become a configurator, built from your geometry.
- You check a private link. On your phone too, including AR. Changes until it's right.
- It goes live on your domain. Quote requests start arriving by email and in your inbox.
Built in production first
We made it for our own trailers
Studio started as the tooling behind IronMile, our line of food trailers, kiosks and carts. On that site every model opens in AR at true scale, buyers configure colors, logos, options and the kitchen, and see inside with a cutaway from our CAD equipment library.
